Integrated Slide Lock (ISL) / Locking system
The Integrated Slide Lock system (ISL) is designed to prevent the possibility of opening several drawers in a cabinet simultaneously. Thus eliminating the risk of the cabinet tipping over (Anti-Tilt).
The system is completely integrated in the slides. The slides are connected to each other by aluminium rods. For that reason, it has one of the lowest costs in mounting of anti-tilt systems in the market. If the drawer width is larger than its depth, we recommend using ISL on both sides of the cabinet. In other cases the use on one side will suffice.
Furthermore, the ISL system can be combined with a central locking system. This system, which can be mounted easily into the cabinet, connects the ISL with a central lock in the cabinet. It is also prepared for flipper door applications. The locking system has a self adjustable feature that makes it possible to close the lock, even when a drawer is still opened. After closing the drawer, it will be locked as well. So, there is one central lock to secure all ISL fitted slides and the position of the lock can be freely determined (also fixation in drawer front). ISL slides have a build in pull in function and can also be used separately.
A lock fitted into an adapter is connected to the activator block by cables. The activator block immobilizes the ISL system when the lock is closed. The system is build up in a modular way, therefore offering maximum flexibility. Cables in various lengths ensure an optimal fit in all cabinets. Depending of the type of usage and its application, we offer various configurations of the system.
Type 1; Basic. If the drawer width is larger than its depth, we recommend using ISL on both sides of the cabinet. In other cases the use on one side will suffice.
Type 2; Basic plus lock. For use on one side of the cabinet:
ISL is applicable for the ULF HD/Solar and Tricom slides, which are tested at 100.000 cycles.
