Blue leaf for Thomas Regout B.V.
This year the Green Directory has made its debut on the Heimtextil. Consumers wants to buy products, which stand out due to their high ecological quality and improved working conditions involved in their manufacture. Many exhibitors already offer fabrics made from ecological materials or take account of sustainability criteria in their production process. And to stimulate that, Heimtextil has introduced this Green Directory. A green leaf represents environmentally-friendly raw materials, a blue leaf an environmentally-friendly manufacturing process and a brown leaf social aspects and transparency. Thomas Regout is very proud receiving the blue leaf because of her environmentally friendly way of producing aluminium profiles.

This year the Green Directory has made its debut on the Heimtextil. Heimtextil is the biggest international trade fair for home and contract textiles and the global benchmark for quality design textiles and hardware of innovative functionality. As the first trade fair of the year, Heimtextil, which is held on four fair days in January, is a platform for Thomas Regout and other manufacturers, retailers and designers. The next time international exhibitors will be showing off their product to trade visitors will be from 12 to 15 January 2011. Heimtextil is the industry’s first major marketing and ordering date of the year and highlights the latest innovations and consumer trends.
Of course, as key player in the market of window decoration, Thomas Regout will be present again, with the necessary style and innovations. Curious about our latest developments? We are proud to introduce the revolutionary new blind system Romatech. This sixfold patented system enables you to introduce a quality blind range without any sewing and with an extremely low start up cost. It’s suitable for almost every Roller Blind.
The revolutionary Romatech System enables any workroom, no matter how large or small, to introduce a quality Roman Blind range. With the use of the Patented Romatech Applicators and Aluminium Profiles the system is simple and efficient to assemble. Add to this the Romatech Twist Rings, the special End Caps and with the minimum of skill you can produce the highest quality Roman Blind in as little as 15 minutes.

January 6, 2010 New 38mm program
Thomas Regout B.V. has expanded her program of curtain poles with a complete new extensive 38mm pole range, including brackets, rings and finials. This program is available in four colors; stainless steel effect, shiny chrome, shiny antique and shiny black gun. From 13 till 16 januari of this year Thomas Regout B.V. presented it’s new developments and innovations at The International trade fair for home and contract textiles, The Heimtextil in Frankfurt.
During these four days, the traide fair was the platform for manufacturers, trade and designers in the sector of home decorations. The theme of this year was ‘take a walk on the style side’ and Thomas Regout showed it’s latest innovations, like the new Roman Blind (Romatech), the motorised flat panel track and the new 38 mm pole range.

We are proud to announce that we have completed the audit succesfully and that we will receive the ISO TS 16949 certificate for the coming three years.
ISO/TS 16949 is the only standard recognized worldwide. It is related to quality management as it applies to any organization active in the automotive/motorcycle supply chain. It is based on the eight quality management principles (all fundamental to good business practice): Customer focus, Leadership, Involvement of people, Process approach, System approach to management, Continual improvement, Fact based decision-making, Mutually beneficial supplier relationships and fulfilment of customer specific requirements.
We have gained this certificate in 2006 in order to focus on the automotive segment. There is a 3 yearly check up by an independent company that are able to decide whether you fulfil all requirements and whether there were improvements during the last 3 years. We are proud to announce that we have completed the audit successfully and that we will receive the ISO TS 16949 certificate for the coming three years. Thomas Regout is constantly busy to add value to the quality management system. Besides the ISO/TS 16949 we already have the ISO 9001 (quality standards for the telescopic slides) and the ISO 14001 (the environment).

July 31, 2009 Bending tools A5000 - A5300 - A6000
In order to continuously provide you with instruments of good quality, we are optimizing our bending tools. The bending tool for our systems A5000, A5300 and A6000, has undergone a make-over.
Where there used to be one bending tool for these 3 systems, we now have 2 separate tools. One for system A5000/A5300 and one for system A6000. These new bending tools guarantee a more precise curve and prevent deformation of the rail.
Both bending tools consist of bending pliers, a bending inlay and bending strips. The bending pliers are universal and can be used for both systems. The bending inlay you should use depends on the rail. There is one tool for the A5000 and A5300 and one for the A6000. The bending strips, however, are specific for each rail individually.

For the second year in a row, Thomas Regout kept its title as one of Netherlands’ best managed companies. The award “50 best managed companies” is granted by Deloitte. The strategy and management of the companies are the primary focus during this competition. But the financial results are taken into consideration as well.
During the competition we presented our vision on multiple management aspects: Strategy, Human Resources, Internal Organisation, Marketing & Sales and Risk management. The jury of professionals also paid attention to issues like environmentally friendly entrepreneurship. On 25 June, our management team received the award on behalf of the entire workforce of Thomas Regout. Thomas Regout is really proud of it’s employees. The pleasant and professional working environment is the result of managing the company in the right way. With this award, Deloitte has rewarded us for our great efforts.

Restyled
The successful ASR System of the 90's has been totally restyled. With this new design, we have given the ASRa more contemporary look and a more refined technical application.
Smooth
The new ASR is an aluminium curtain rail with synthetic click-runners, for fluent opening and closing of the curtain. Thanks to the technical improvement, the rail does not have to be siliconised to run smoothly and functions perfectly with any type of curtain. It's ingenious stoprunner deblocks with a soft pull at the curtain.
Bending

Thomas Regout has a new website. Since 1 June 2008, the department Window Decoration became a separate entity, named Thomas Regout BV. The need for a separate, updated and restyled website grew. Today, the new website is online and fully functioning.
To make the use of this website as accessible as possible, we drew up the following guidelines for you:

- When you enter www.thomasregout.nl you have the possibility to choose between Thomas Regout International BV (telescopic slides) and Thomas Regout BV (window decoration). On the left you immediately find the latest news items. The color indicates to which entity it relates.
- When you enter the homepage of Thomas Regout BV, you can explore the entire website by using the menu.
- On each page, on the right-hand side you will find the news-overview and a search wizard for our products. In the quick search you can browse through our systems and product categories.
- Should you be looking for a system of which you can not find the name in the quick search, you can try the search wizard in the top-right corner. Type in the system you are looking for and hit the search button.
- In the section “Product Range” you can find an overview of our products. At this time we are working on a new catalogue. When a PDF logo is shown you can download the latest catalogue details on the concerning system. In the mean time you can still download our current catalogue.
